Loans
In June 2011, Bechtel signed a five-year revolving credit facility with a value of US$ 2,500 million. The facility is split in two tranches: a US$ 1,550 million letter of credit and a US$ 950 million revolver. The proceeds would be used to refinance debt and for working capital purposes. National Bank of Kuwait was part of the syndicate of 24 banks, and committed an estimated amount of US$ 75 million.1
