In October 2012, L&T Finance, a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, issued bonds with a total value of INR 1,000 million (US$ 18.6 million). The issue was split in two tranches: a INR 500 million(US$ 9.3 million) 9.410% tranche due April 2014 and a INR 500 million(US$ 9.3 million) 9.480% tranche due October 2014. The proceeds were used for general corporate purposes. Equator Securities PT participated in the three bank syndicate,underwriting an estimated amount of US$ 6.2 million1
