Rostec

Rostec is a Russian state-owned company, involved in aircraft engineering, engine manufacture, arms production, medical equipment, and biotech among others.[i] Rostec produces the Iskander-M nuclear-capable missile system.[ii] Another entity of Rostec, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) developed the Tupolev Tu-160M strategic missile-carrying bomber aircraft.[iii] This upgraded version of the supersonic Tu-160 bomber can carry missiles with both conventional and nuclear warheads, and is assumed to serve as a key component of Russia’s nuclear triad.[iv]
