Battelle takes part in the management of the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Savannah River National Laboratory, U.S. facilities involved in nuclear weapon modernization and new warhead production.[i] Battelle has worked on numerous contracts, but is established as a non-profit organisation and not externally or privately financed.[ii]
